Russia would Build Nuclear Station In Belarus
Russia will move its nuclear weapons near the western border of Belarus, a Russian messenger said to Minsk, the capital of Belarus, on Sunday. Apart from that, it will escalate Moscow’s standoff with the West.
It was one of the nuclear signals President Vladimir Putin said on March 26, 2022, RU will station tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. It was said before the Russia-Ukraine invasion around 13 months ago.
The two Slav neighbors, part of a union state, have talked with RU for years to proceed with the integration part. This process started after Minsk permitted Moscow to use its land to send troops into the Ukrainian land last year.
Boris Gryzlov said to Belarus, Weapons would be moved to the western border of our union state, Belarus, to ensure security. It will be done despite the noise in US and UK.
But, still, suspense about where the weapons will be placed. As per the reports, the nuclear weapons storage facility will be completed by July 1, as Putin ordered, and will be moved to the West of Belarus.
Belarus’s borders have been strengthened from North and West with additional troops and military equipment after the invasion of Ukraine.
The US and Ukraine were worried when they heard RU would send tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus.
On Friday, the President of Belarus said that Belarus would allow RU to put intercontinental nuclear missiles there, too, if necessary.
