06 February 2023 – Central Turkey and northwest Syria have faced an earthquake of 7.9 magnitudes, one of the deadliest earthquakes of the 21st century.
22 June 2022 – Afghanistan faced an earthquake of 6.1 magnitudes which affected around 1100 lives
14 August 2021 – Haiti suffered from earthquakes of 7.2 magnitudes, which resulted in the deaths of more than 2200 people.
28 September 2018 – Indonesia faced the deadliest earthquake of 7.5 magnitudes, killing more than 4300 lives.
24 August 2016 – Central Italy’s 6.6 magnitude earthquake resulted in the killing of 300 people.
25 April 2015 – Nepal felt a killer earthquake of 7.8 magnitudes which killed more than 8800 people.
03 August 2014 – Wenping, China – An earthquake of 6.2 magnitudes killed almost 700 people
24 September 2013 – Southwest Pakistan also suffered from an earthquake of 7.7 magnitudes, resulting in 800 deaths.
11 March 2011 – Japan suffered from the deadliest earthquake of 9.0 magnitudes, which caused 20,000 lives and triggered a Tsunami.
27 February 2010 – Chile was shaken by an earthquake of 8.8 magnitudes, which triggered a tsunami and killed around 524 people.
12 January 2010 – Haiti suffered deaths of around 316,000 people due to the earthquake of 7.0 magnitudes
30 September 2009 – In Southern Sumatra, Indonesia 7.5 magnitude quake resulted in more than 1100 deaths.
06 April 2009 – L’Aquila, Italy, faced more than 300 deaths due to an earthquake of 6.3 magnitudes.
12 May 2008 – Eastern Sichuan, China, has witnessed the deaths of 87,500 people due to the deadliest earthquake of 7.9 magnitudes.
15 August 2007 – Central Peru has recorded the death of around 500 people because of an 8.0 magnitude quake.
26 May 2006 – Island of Java, Indonesia, has witnessed the killing of more than 5700 lives due to a quake of 6.3 magnitude.
08 October 2005 – Around 80,000 people have been killed due to a 7.6 earthquake in the Kashmir region of Pakistan.
28 March 2005 – Northern Sumatra, Indonesia – 1300 people have been reported killed due to an 8.6 magnitude quake
