A second-year Delhi University student allegedly provided shelter to Khalistan Leader Amritpal Singh and his associate Papalpreet in her rented flat at Laxmi Nagar of East Delhi.

Delhi police have confirmed that Amritpal Singh is now in Nepal, and Nepal officials have assured that they have put the Khalistani Leader on their surveillance list. But with the help of intelligence agencies, it has been discovered that before fleeing to Nepal, Amritpal Singh and one of his associates, Papalpreet Singh, had stayed at a 2nd year Delhi University Student’s rented flat in Delhi. And now Delhi and Punjab police are questioning the woman about the same.
Pro claimed Khalistani Leader and Chief of Waris Punjab De, Amritpal Singh, had been on the run since 18 March 2013, when Punjab Police cracked down on him and his Khalistani Group.
As per the reporters, Papalpreet Singh met with the DU girl at the time of the farmers’ protest, and since then, he has visited her twice. It has also been discovered that the girl’s hometown was near Papalpreet village. During the investigation, the woman confirmed that Papalpreet Singh and Amrirpal Singh arrived at her flat on 20th March 2023 around 08:20 PM, but she had never met with Amritpal before. At the request of Papalpreet, she allowed the two to stay for the night, and they left the flat the next day after lunch.
Intelligence agencies have found the same and started an investigation into this Punjab Police, with Delhi Police questioning the woman before taking legal action against her.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Punjab Police also confirmed to the Punjab and Haryana Court that they are very close to capturing the Khalistani leader with the help of intelligence agencies. They give assertions about it after the followers of Khalistani raised their voices to the court, saying that Punjab Police had arrested their leader and now not showing him in front of the court. The court has ordered them to bring evidence that the Punjab Police had illegally arrested him, and they have also asked the Punja police to clear the matter. Counting which Punjab Police have issued various footage of Amritpal Singh, where he seemed to be running at different places by changing his looks.
Punjab and Haryana Courts have asked both parties to bring the evidence and fixed the next hearing date as 29 March 2023, asking Punjab Police to file an affidavit.
