A 58-year-old woman died on Saturday Evening due to heavy rains in Delhi after a ceiling collapsed in Tibbiya College Society near Karol Bagh in central Delhi.

The 58-year-old woman has been identified as Ranjit Kaur. DFS – Delhi Fire Services has said that they have received 15 calls from different people across the capital, including Alaknanda, Kucha Patiram, Sadar Bazar, Ambedkar Nagar, and Lajpat Nagar part-1 areas, that parts of their buildings have collapsed due to the heavy rains in Delhi.
Atul Garg – The Cheilf of Delhi Fire Services has said that they have received 15 calls of collapsed incidents between 01:00 am to 06:00 pm on Saturday, such as damage to a portion of a house, wall, or roof. None of them were much serious except for one in which a 58-year-old woman died. One such incident was also reported where 30 people were rescued from Saraipur DDA flats near Tis Hazari.
