As per the Annual Threat Assessment of the US Intelligence Community, there are high chances of armed conflict between India and China due to the military expansion alongside the disputed borders.
As per the US Intelligence report, it will directly affect the personal interest and personnel of the US, so that US intervention will be needed here. Further, the report says India and China’s relationship is compassionate from 20220’s lethal clash. Since both countries have been engaged in talks to resolve the matter for a long time, even then, it has been supposed to lead to armed conflict.

Defense Intelligence Agencies have issued strict directions not to use Chinese mobiles amidst the current Standoff with the Chinese at the Line of Actual Control. Military Spy agencies have asked the troops and their families not to go with buying Chinese phones because of the cases of malware and spyware found in various Chinese-origin smartphones. So there is strict instruction to avoid these phones, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Xiaomi, RealMe, Honor, Gionee, ZTE, Infinix, and ASUS.
Spy companies are serious about Chinese smartphones, as earlier a lot of cases have come of spyware and malware in military personal phones.
After July 2019, another meeting concerning WMCC – Working Mechanism for consultations & coordination on India-China Border Affairs was held in Beijing on 22 February 2023. A Joint Secretary from the Ministry of external affairs has led India’s delegations. On the other hand, from China, the Director General of the Boundary and Oceanic Affairs Department of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has led the delegations.
As per the meeting, both sides have discussed the issues at LAC – Line of Actual Control and possible proposals for a standard solution. And further, both sides have agreed to another round of Senior Commanders Level meetings at an early date and also agreed to do regular discussions through military and diplomatic channels to get their common objective.
