On Monday, certain parts of Twitter are not working, including images, links, and tweets deck. This is because of the Error related to the API, which helps Twitter to communicate. According to the CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, an outage occurs due to the code. Twitter is working to change the API so that no one can use the free tweets, but due to the wrong configuration API is broken, and errors are coming on the platform.
The company explained to its support about this outage; it happened due to some internal changes in the platform. The blackout hit Twitter’s internal system and various essential services and showed broken images and links to the users. Twitter hired the employees to evaluate the risk of the configurations. But the company fired 25% of the staff before Elon Musk took over.

Elon Musk suggested rewriting the whole code of Twitter because faults in the code are the reason for various outages. Elon Musk wrote on Twitter, “A small API change has an unwelcome consequence. The code is brittle for no good reason. It will need a complete rewrite without any current problems and new updates.”
