In an interview, Kapil asked, “Was Godse a spoot of India as per Giriraj Singh? RSS has offered help to Brithsers, So how can they acknowledge Mahatma Gandhi? So this Mindset of Giriraj is against the principles of Mahatma Gandhi.
Kapil further said Spoot means a good son. Now Giriraj has said Nathuram Godse is a good son of India. And the constitution of India has a responsibility toward the cabinet, so he was speaking on behalf of the government.
On Friday, Union Minister Giriraj Singh remarked to Godse as the spoot of India while saying that he was not an invader like Mughal rulers Babar and Aurangzeb. Indeed, he has born in India. His response has come against one of the remarks related to Nathuram Godse by AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Union Minister further said those who take this pride in being called upon as the descendants of Babur would not be the true son of India.
Sibal is not only the one who has slammed this remark by Union Minister, there are various other leads of opposition as well who have slammed this remark by Giriraj Singh.
Neeraj Kumar – the JDU leader, said that if a person like Naturam Godse is to be called the true son of Mother India, then the dacoits like Dawood, Chambal, Veerappan, and Mallya are also the son of India.
