In his latest interview, Mohammed Siraj opened up about the racism he faced during the India tour of Australia 2020-21; he says that Australian Supporters called him Black Monkey, to which Captain Ajinkya Rahane took his stand during the Sydney Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Further, Siraj stated, “On being called upon Black Moneky on the first day, he has ignored them, but then again on the second day, Australian Supported called him Black Monkey, he took the stand. He went to the umpire and told the Indian Captain Ajinkya Rahane about the incident. To which the umpire advised them they could leave the stadium until the things settled.”
To which Ajinkya Said, “Throw them out” Siraj further said in his interview that the Ajju bhai told the umpire to kick those racists out of the ground who don’t know how to respect the cricket. Why should we leave the ground?
In his interview, Siraj said this type of thing affects the players’ focus. But for us, we need to focus only on our game while entering the ground, but people on the sidelines are just cribbing.
Team India, under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rajane, got a lead by 2-1 win in the border Gavaskar Trophy of 2020-2021, following their embracing loss against Adelaide in their first test match, in which India lost the match by eight wickets and scored only 36 runs.
Mohammed Siraj is on rest for the 4th test India Australia Test match in Ahmedabad. But we will soon be able to see him from March 17 in the three-match ODI series.
