As the tensions between Israel and Hamas are increasing daily, all other nations are worrying about their citizens who have been stuck in Israel and are trying to flee home. India has also launched “Operation Ajay” to evacuate the Indians Citizens who have been stuck amidst this Israel-Hamas War.
India Launches ‘Operation Ajay’ to Evacuate Citizens from Israel

As per the External Affairs Ministry, there are over 18,000 Indians who are living in Israel, and a sizable portion of them are caretakers. However, over 1,000 students, a few diamond traders, and IT professionals are still among them.
S Jaishankar, the external minister of India, has shared on X about the launch of “Operation Ajay” to bring back the people who want to return to India. To assist this operation and to facilitate the safe returns of the Indian people, special charter planes and other arrangements have been prepared.
The first group of Indians has been scheduled to return to India on a particular flight on Thursday. Indian Embassy in Israel has already emailed all the selected people for their first flight on Thursday who have applied for a safe return to India, and the remaining registered people will get the email of the subsequent flights.
