Chancellor Olaf Scholz urged India’s IT Specialists and other Skilled workers to work in Germany during his two days visit to India. Chancellor said the german government is planning to reduce the complex process of immigration and introduce a point-based system to get a german visa for skilled professionals who don’t have any job offer after understanding the labor shortage situation in the Largest Economy of Europe.
He didn’t specify how many Indian workers the German government expected from India. However, during the discussion in IT Company SAP Labs in Bangalore, he said many would take advantage of working in Germany as Skilled Workers. Germany needs workers in all areas but especially the skills such as IT Skilled workers, as he has seen in Software and IT Development.
The Major reason for german leaders in India is to create solid economic relations and discuss Ukraine-Russia War with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Scholz, who traveled to India, said he would make an effort for a Trade and investment agreement between India and Europe. In addition, Modi and Scholz discussed closer defense operations to build six submarines in India to help Asian nations.

Also, he wants to establish a point-based system for Skilled workers to increase opportunities to come to german without having job offers, and the german language is an advantage for them.
