A newborn baby has shocked everyone with two penises. The baby boy has been born with two penises, and one is 1 cm small than the other. This rare condition, known as “Diphallia,” affects one out of 6 million babies. Only a hundred cases have been reported with this rare case in human history, including this Pakistan boy born after 36 weeks with well-formed phalluses.

People with diphallia have the chance that their penises start developing with time or they get dis-form. Often babies born with two penises undergo surgery to remove one. But in this case, they have not yet revealed why they have not started the surgery on the baby yet to remove the extra penis.
The incident occurred in Pakistan, where the boy was born with two penises and can pass urine from both orifices. Parents took the boy immediately to the children’s hospital at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences after they became aware of the child’s rare condition. The surgeon has done a colonoscopy of the baby so that the baby can pass the stool because he was born without Anus. As per the scans, it has been discovered that the baby boy has a single bladder attached to two urethras, which means he can pass urine from both penises.
The medical staff stated that the baby was treated immediately upon finding out the condition. However, there was a higher mortality risk due to the rarity of such a condition. After the surgery, the boy was monitored two days before discharge and was put on a follow-up.
Science is still unclear about the reasons behind this rare diphallia condition; no risk factor related to this condition has been reported yet. However, it has been thought that this condition happens when genitalia develops in the womb.
