In the police investigation, they found that Amritpal, who had returned to India in August 2020, had undergone cosmetic surgery in Georgie to look like the Khalistani terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.

Intelligent agencies are still in search of Amritpal and digging into how he suddenly came back to India and became the Khalistani leader after the death of Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu. As per reports, Sidhu was arrested in February 2021 for the violence at Red Fort during Farmer’s protest for three bills that have been withdrawn by the government and have been released after two months. But later on, Deep Sidhu died in a road accident.

As per reports, when Amritpal Singh was in Georgie, he was in contact with Jaswant Singh Rode, brother of Khalistani militant Lakhbir Singh Rode, who is suspected to be in Pakistan, and militant Paramjit Singh Pamma. Further, it has been reported that the organization is in contact with Pakistan and getting funds from there for their anti-social things, and even they are paying off their debts with the funding from Pakistan.

Amritpal Singh, in Georgie, has undergone surgery to make him look like Bhindranwale. His aides under police investigation also said that he even tried to copy the mannerism, attire, and talking of having a separate Sikh State same as Bhindranwale.
