Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, Failed to pay the bills of the Singapore headquarters office. Singapore staff stopped coming to the office due to Elon’s failure to pay the office dues. They allowed work from home for the Singapore staff ultimately.
According to reports, Twitter emailed the Singapore Staff to leave the CapitaGreen Building and announced work from home. This office serves as the headquarters in the Asia-Pacific region.
Casey Newton tweeted, “I’m told Twitter employees were just walked out of its Singapore office — its Asia-Pacific headquarters — over nonpayment of rent. Landlords walked employees out of the building“. He sued Twitter for the unpaid rent payment of $136,250 for his office in San Francisco.

Why was Twitter Sued?
According to a filed complaint by the landlord, Rent is not paid by the company for the office located at 650 California Street on the edge of Chinatown, USA. On Dec 29 Lawsuit was filed in San Francisco’s state court. Twitter sued in December 2022 for refusing to pay for two charter flights.
Elon also converted office rooms into small bedrooms for the hardcore members to stay overnight at the office. Due to this, Elon musk has lost over $200 billion in net worth in the last year.
