A First-Time Tornado in Punjab
A tremendous tornado hits Bukainwala village in Fazilka, Punjab, on Friday, 24 March 2023. It destroyed over 50 homes and ten people in the town of a 3 KM area. Two injured were taken to the Faridkot medical college and another to Civil Hospital in Abohar.
After that, a storm crossed Pakistan’s side, visible from several villages. A Person from the town, Pardeep Singh said suddenly, it appeared in the sky at 4 PM and destroyed many homes.
Someone from the village posted the video the Twitter and shared the live Tornado from the affected area.
Senu Duggal, The Deputy commissioner of Fazilka, said, The damage is very expansive in the village, and we are evaluating the identical loss of houses and other properties. Apart from this, many people and animals are damaged in the storm.
Fazilka, Bathinda, and Muktsar Districts are known for the storms from the Malwa belt, but this Tornado is massive and rare.
