09 February 2023 – A very unusual movement was reported during the test series between India and Australia. It has been reported that the all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was doing something weird when he came for the bowl.
At first, out of the four matches, the Indian team locked horns with the Australian team. The match was scheduled at VCA – Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
Pat Cummins from the Australian team has been picked to bat first after winning the toss. And during the middle of the first inning, a very unimaginable act was caught on camera, when all-rounder start Ravindra Jadeja took the ball to kickstart his over.

As per the reports and the viral video through social media – Twitter, it has been found that how before going for the ball, Ravindra Jadeja took something in the spinner finger of his left hand and then rubbed it on the ball. This act by Ravindra Jadeja has become the most questionable thing, and people from all over the cricket world started to debate this act.
Further, Tim Paine – a former Australian skipper, and Michael Vaughan – a former skipper of England, were left shocked and confused by this unusual act by the all-rounder member of team India.
Ravindra Jadeja’s Unusual Move on Field
However, Jadeja, who made a comeback to the national level after five months due to some injury, recorded five wickets with 47 runs against Australia in the first match of the four innings. Regarding the numbers, the Australian team scored 177 runs on the first day. Mohammed Siraj and Mohammad Shami, the best packers of Team India, have done their role well, and their initial breakthrough sets the tone of the whole match in favor of India.
But overall, Ravinder Jadeja and Ravichandran Aswin were the ones who played a significant role in today’s match by getting the rest of the wickets and summing up the game.
When coming to bat, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma did a great job with a partnership of 76 runs when Rahul went back to the pavilion. The match was concluded with 100 runs on the trail by the India team for the next day, as the team could score only 77 runs during the first day of the match.
