Everyone must have watched the Squid Game reality show, which became popular in 2021 when it was released on Netflix. However, one of its original stars has been convicted of sexual misconduct.

The star, Oh Young-soo, who played one of the most beloved characters and has taken his last breath in the climax of the show, was found guilty of sexual harassment on 15 March 2024.
The 79-year-old actor has played the role of Oh Il-nam/Player 001 in the Netflix Series Squid Game. Now, he has been sentenced to 8 months of imprisonment and two years of suspension for assaulting an actress in 2017 while both were shooting for the play together.
In 2022, the actress filed a complaint against him for inappropriately touching her during the shoot of the play in 2017. The verdict has been announced on 15 March 2024 in the district court in Seongnam. Following his suspension, the actor also has to attend a 40-hour sexual violence treatment program. As per the police report, the actor, Young-soo, has forcefully hugged and kissed the actress on her cheeks.
