There has been a lot of controversy since the clash of the release dates of the films Salaar and Dunki as to who will attract more of the public. Shah Rukh Khan’s starter, Dunki, will be released nationally on 21st December 2023, while Salaar, featuring Prabhas, is scheduled to be released nationally on 22nd December 2023.
Salaar Movie Pulls Out of PVR, INOX, and Miraj Chains

But after a series of clashes, major news has come from the makers of the South Indian film, who plan to pull the movie from PVR, INOX, and Miraj multiplex chains in South India because of the unfair distribution of screens for the movie.
As per the reports, it has been said that the movie makers are unhappy with these chains as they are unfairly distributing screens for Salaar and giving more importance to the Dunki. It has been said that Northen Cinemas are giving more attention to Shah Rukh Khan‘s movies while keeping the south Indian movie aside. In one such case from Mumbai, PVR INOX has allocated all of its show timing to Dunki and none to Prabhas’s movie.
If Salaar makers do not allow these multiplex chains to show the movie, it will be a massive loss for the cinemas. On the other hand, these multiplex also contribute 30% gross in most areas, which is unsuitable for the Salaar. Both sides are expected to discuss to come to a standard solution.
