Five people have been arrested after condoms, stones, and gutka were found in samosas supplied to the canteen of a major auto company based in Pimpari Chincchwad of Pune.

All five accused have been identified as Rahim Shaikh, Mazhar Shaikh, Azhar Shaikh, Firoz Shaikh, and Vicky Shaikh. According to the police reports, two of these people were the workers of the subcontracting firm that was asked to supply samosas, and three were the workers from another firm whose contract was canceled earlier for the adulteration of snakes.
Catalyst Service Solutions Pvt Ltd. has to supply the samosas to Pune’s Auto Company; however, they gave the contract to Manohar Enterprises, a third-party company.
The police further revealed that as per the investigation, it had been found that Firoz and Vicky had stuffed condoms, stones, and Gutka in the samosas, which had been supplied to the canteen of Pune’s Auto Company. Further, it has been found that the other three people have sent Firoz and Vicky to Manohar Enterprise to defame their names.
A case has been registered under IPC sections 328 (causing harm by means of poison), and 120B (criminal conspiracy), and further investigation are still under process.
