Nepal announced the printing of the new 100 Ruppe note on Friday. Still, the shocking thing is that the new note will come with a map that shows the controversial terrorists of the Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh, and Kalapani, which are already termed as “artificial enlargement” and “untenable” by India.

It has been reported that the meeting of the chairmen, chaired by the PM of Nepal, Pushpakamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ decided to print the 100 Rupee note with a new map that will include the territories of the Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani.
The cabinet approved redesigning the note with the new map and changed the old map on 25 April and 02 May 2024. Earlier, Nepal also completed the process of updating the political map of the country by adding the Lipulekh, Kalapani, and Limpiyadhura areas to the map by amending the constitution, to which India responded sharply and called it “untenable” and the “artificial enlargement” of the territorial claims.
