Conservative British MP Bob Blackman has stepped up to condemn the ongoing violence against Hindus in Bangladesh while calling attention to the recent arrest of spiritual mentor Chinmoy Krishna Das to the Bangladesh High Court’s attempt to ban the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). In a debating session in the Parliament, Blackman quoted serious alarm on the issues of religious intolerance towards minority religions in Bangladesh, a predominantly Islamic nation with a tiny Hindu belt.
