A man from the Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh was shocked to learn that his bank account had been credited 9,999 Crore Rupees due to a technical bank glitch.

When Bhanu Prakash checked his account at Baroda UP Bank, he found that he had Rs. 99,99,94,95,999.99 in it. He immediately informed the bank about this bank glitch. After investigation, the bank cleared that Bhanu’s account is a Kisan Credit Card loan account, which has become a Non-Performing Asset. Looking into the seriousness of the incident, the bank took swift action.
Rohit Gautam, the branch manager, has clarified that this happened due to a technical bank glitch, which led to an incorrect reflection of the sum in the account. The bank has put the account on hold to prevent any misuse of the amount and fix the error.
