Null has shared a video recording of the same on his LinkedIn profile, showing a new button at the app’s navigation bar named “Videos.” After tapping the video button or swipe, one can quickly go to the vertical short-form video feed and enjoy the professional videos. Like other short-form video formats like TikTok, Youtube, and Instagram, people here can also like, comment on, and share the video with others.
The company’s video feed will consist of videos focusing on professionals and careers. This new feature has been crafted to increase users’ engagement by providing them with bite-sized creative and career-related videos.
Currently, the feature is in the testing phase and unavailable for all users. The company’s new feature will allow creators to share videos on the platform and gain more reach. At some point, the company may also plan to monetize the videos to encourage creators to post more content on the platform.
