Ola’s co-founder, Bhavish Aggarwal, has joined the AI race by announcing its first LLM, Krutrim, referred to as Artifical in Sanskrit.

The AI model will come into two versions a base model and a pro version. The based model has been trained on unique datasets and 2 trillion tokens. At the same time, the pro version will be a broader and more complex model and will be launched earlier next year with advanced task execution and problem-solving capabilities.
During the launch of the Krutrim, Bhavish Aggarwal showed how it is similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Bard, and it can understand 22 Indian languages and generate text in 10 Indian Languages. Bhavish said this AI will be made for Indian people using the country’s data resources.
