A 56-year-old Japanese tourist has died after completing the World’s highest Bunjee Jump in Macau Tower, China. As per the initial reports, the Japanese man started experiencing a shortage of breath just after taking a 767ft plunge from the highest bungee jump in the world on 03 December 2023.

He was immediately rushed to the Conde S. Januário Hospital in Macau but declared dead after being admitted. An investigation is still going on to clarify the reason behind the death of the 56-year-old Japanese Tourist.
Skypark, who managed the bungee Jumping and all its safety and security concerns, said that before Bungee Jumping, all the clients are asked for their medical history or if they have been going through any illness, including high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or previous surgery for their safety. The Macau Tower is around 338m (1100ft), and the Bungee Jumping platform is 233m (764ft).
The charge for the solo ticket for Bungee Jumping is around 2,888 Macanese pataca (£282). Skypark has been said to have operated more than four million successful jumps to date with perfect safety records.
