The US-backed coalition, including the United Kingdom, launched a heavy airstrike in Yemen on Thursday to target the Houthi rebels. Yemen authorities have said that the US and the UK will have to face heavy consequences for these air strikes, and they have vowed a vendetta for that.

The US and UK have attacked Yemen by targeting airports, airbases, and a military camp after a week of attack done by the Hauthies on the Red Sea, which affects the commercial shipping on the trade route.
Hussein Al-Ezzi, the deputy foreign minister of the Hauthi, has said that the US and UK should now be prepared to pay a heavy price for what they have done.
As per reports, the air strike by the United States and the United Kingdom has hit the capital, Sanaa, as well as the cities of Saada and Hodeida.
US officials have revealed that the massive air strike in Yemen has been done using submarines and warships launched Tomahawk missiles and fighter jets. President Joe Biden said that this strike was to show a demonstration to Yemen that the US and its allies will not tolerate the ceaseless attack by the Houthis on the Red Sea. Biden also added that they have taken this step only after trying diplomatic negotiations and careful deliberation.
This attack, which the United States and the United Kingdom have coordinated, has come after a week of the final warning given by the White House to the Houthis to cease the attack, or they would have to face the consequences.
However, the Houthis have claimed that their attack was in defense of the Palestinians in Gaza against Israel. However, most of the ships attacked by them were not related to Israel.
