The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are put on red alert after Hezbollah accused it of being behind exploding pagers in Lebanon. The blasts have unfortunately killed at least nine people and affected thousands of others. The militant group Hezbollah, active in Lebanon, was the first to condemn the incidents to the action of Israel. Leaders of the group were angered by this and they threatened to bring retaliation. As it has been reported, these pagers that are commonly used by the population of Lebanon exploded at once, panicking people and creating a sense of insecurity in different regions of this country.

While the IDF has not responded directly to these statements made by Hezbollah, it is stated that they are ready for any reprisal that may occur. Hezbollah and Israel have been enemies for years, and relations between these two have been a bit tense in the recent past. Recently, pager explosions have made the relationship even more tense. This situation could worsen, and this is what some international observers have argued. In the event that Hezbollah prefers to strike back, then this may culminate into more violence between the state of Israel and Lebanon, therefore disturbing the stability of the Middle East.
In response, the IDF has ramped up its preparation along the northern frontiers and advised that people living around the area should be careful. Most still believe that if the current crisis is not solved, it lead to a more extensive war in the future. Uhuru and Ruto are now waiting for the next events while the region is still tense. Such include those who wait for the situation to calm down in order to take a peaceful end with as few losses as possible. The general public in the international parliamentary assembly still is concerned with the events highlighting the need for calm in the conflict.
