Hemant Soren of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha will be sworn in as Jharkhand Chief Minister on November 28 after the JMM emerged victorious in Jharkhand assembly polls recently. On Sunday, Soren handed over his resignation from the service as the caretaker Jharkhand Chief Minister to Governor Santosh Gangwar to formally claim to form the new government. The JMM-led coalition with Congress RJD got a comfortable majority for Soren, which solidified his position as the new government head. He has done this through issues that can be easily understood by the common man, such as human welfare, issues affecting the tribal population, rural development, and unemployment.

Soren’s swearing-in ceremony will attract many national and regional leaders and will be a significant political activity in the state. This will be his second term as Jharkhand Chief Minister, which will solidify his leadership in the politics of the Jharkhand area. The primary goals of the new government may, therefore, include meeting political promises, which will include improvement in infrastructure, employment and improvement on administration.
So, the main thing is that Soren has the mandate from the coalition to address problems like poverty and industrialisation within the state. This victory once again strengthens Soren and simultaneously shows how the JMM appeals to the hopes and dreams of the people of Jharkhand. The citizens of the state await him, hoping that he fits the bill of taking the state to the next level or to a steady state.
