French officials have confirmed that around 276 people have boarded the plane for the flight while 27, including five children, remained in France for asylum.
The flight landed on Friday at Vatry, and then it came to know that the flight contained 11 unaccompanied minors among the 303 passengers. All the detained passengers were given makeshift beds, access to toilets and showers, and meals with hot drinks while detained for four days in the halls of Vatry airport.
As per reports, it has been found that there is a link between the flight and Nicaragua, which raises eyebrows because Central America has seen a spike in the cases of people seeking asylum in the US. As per the data from the US Customs and Border Patrol, there is an increase in the percentage of people entering the US illegally. In FY 2023, the number was 96,917, 51.61% more than the last FY.

The Donkey flight was grounded when it landed at an airport around 160km from Paris, resulting from tipping. The plane used to carry passengers has been reported frequently to smuggle people into the United States. The investigation is ongoing, and once it has been verified, the minimum punishment for this crime in France is 20 years.
