Delhi Public School, Jammu, received a bomb threat in the early morning of Wednesday from an anonymous number. The police were informed immediately, and a search operation was started inside and around the DPS Jammu.

The coordinator of the Delhi Public School received a threat call around 08:00 am on Wednesday indicating the presence of the bomb in the school premises. After receiving the bomb threat, the school immediately informed the police. Police started their search operation immediately to find out the explosive.
They have employed sniffer dogs and mine detectors to trace the bomb within and around the school premises and searched each classroom. Meanwhile, the school has contacted the parents of their students, informed them about the incident, and requested that they not panic.
The police and security officials are still looking into the matter to find out whether it was just a hoax call or there was a bomb.
