The creator of one of the most famous Japanese comics, Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama, passes away at 68. He has suffered an acute subdural hematoma, which is a bleeding near the brain.

As per a statement published on the official website of Dragon Ball, Mr. Toriyama died on 1 March 2024, and only his family and a few close friends attended his funeral. His studio said that he had many more things to achieve. He left very early, but he also left many manga titles and works of art to the world.
Mr. Toriyama was born in 1995 in Nagoya, Japan, and entered the comic world in the early 1980s with Dr. Slump. However, Dragon Ball is his most famous work.
This comic has become highly famous worldwide and has been adapted into film and cartoon versions. Fans are paying tribute to Akira Toriyama for creating the beautiful characters that have become a part of most people’s childhoods. The cartoon version has been dubbed into many languages, and Dragon Ball characters’ toys have become famous from Japan to China and Southeast Asia.
The comic series debuted in 1984. It features a boy named Son Goku who collects magical Dragon Balls to defend the earth from alien humanoids called Saiyans.
