Union Minister Chirag Paswan has voiced opposition to the UPSC’s lateral recruitment scheme. Chirag Paswan asserts that his party is strongly opposed to the way the plan has been implemented, especially in light of the fact that reservations were not taken into account for the advertised positions. Paswan, who is in charge of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and has 5 MPs, made it clear that his party doesn’t like the way things are done for hiring people now.
