Famous Punjabi Music Composer and lyricist Bunty Bains was shot by some unknown assailants in Mohali Sector 79 when he was dining at a restaurant on 27 February 2024.

Bunty Bains is also the former manager of the Sidhu Moose Wala, and when he was dining in a restaurant today, some unknown men started open gunfire on him. However, Bains successfully escaped from the place without any serious injuries.
Bains further revealed that the assailants had tried to contact him after the incident over the call and asked for a ransom of around one crore Indian rupees. The incident happened just after some moments when Bains published a story of having dinner in a restaurant in Mohali.
