Police have arrested a Bihar teacher, Harendra Rajak, for telling children not to vote for PM Modi.

According to Rakesh Kumar, Muzaffarpur SSP, the teacher has been arrested for violating the election code of conduct after the district’s education officer reported an FIR. DEO Ajay Kumar Singh said he learned about this incident from a student’s parent at the government secondary school in Amrakh in Kurhani block.
DEO further said that the students’ family members had registered a written complaint that the teacher told them not to vote for PM Modi as food grains that are unfit for human consumption are being distributed under the free ration scheme.
Several students have also confirmed that Harendra Rajak has told them so inside the classroom.
