A shocking incident has been reported from Bengaluru where a 39-year-old CEO has been booked for the murder of her 4-year-old son and traveling with his body from Goa to Karnataka in her bag.

The accused has been identified as Suchana Seth, the CEO and founder of an AI Startup company, Mindful AI, who checked out from a service apartment in Candolim of North Goa and was travelling to Bengaluru. After her checkout, the housekeeping staff found some blood stains in the room and immediately informed the police about the incident.
Suchana Seth was detained at Aimangala police station in the Chitradurga district while returning to Karnataka. As per their initial investigation, it was found that when she checked out from the hotel in North Goa, she asked for a taxi; hotel staff suggested a flight, but she insisted on a taxi.
Hotel staff arranged a local taxi for her, and the CCTV footage also confirmed that her 4-year-old son was not with her at the time of her checkout.
Goa’s police team contacted her taxi driver and asked him to reach the nearest police station with the knowledge of Suchana Seth. The taxi driver did the same, and she was detained at a police station in the Chitradurga district.
As per the police investigation, they found the body of her child in her bag. The reason might be her separation from her husband, Venkat Raman, who lives in Indonesia and is currently on his way back.
The LinkedIn profile of Suchana Seth says she is the founder and CEO of the AI Startup Company Mindful AI. She describes herself as an “AI ethics expert and data scientist with over 12 years of experience mentoring data science teams and scaling machine learning solutions at startups and industry research labs.”
Per her LinkedIn profile, She Is a Mozilla Fellow at Data & Society, a Fellow at the Berkman Klein Centre at Harvard University, and a research fellow at Raman Research Institute. She “also holds patents in natural language processing.” Apart from this, as per her LinkedIn profile, Seth is also “on the 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics List”.
