PM Modi inaugurated the grand BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi on 14 February 2024, i.e., on the day of Basant Panchami. This is the first even Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the Islamic country United Arab Emirates.

The BAPS Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi has been dedicated to the Lord Swaminarayan. Along with this, people will be able to worship the idols of Shiva-Parvati, Sita-Ram, Lakshman ji, Hanuman ji, Radha-Krishna, Shri Ganesh, Jagannath Swami, and Lord Ayyappa in this first Hindu temple of Abu Dhabi.
This temple is one of the largest temples in arab countries, and it took almost three years to complete this temple. This temple is built on 27 acres, and pink sandstone from Rajasthan has been used to build this vast temple. Artisans in Rajasthan and Gujarat have carved the marble in this temple with over 25000 pieces of stone.
