Atishi is one of the prominent leaders within the AAP for she has been actively involved in education and governance. She has contributed immensely to enhance the quality of education in Delhi especially to government schools. She is a good leader because she has a very working and progressive leadership style that is people-oriented and development-oriented geared towards inclusive growth of the services in Delhi.
The forthcoming event will be something of an important milestone for the AAP and Delhi as Atishi will be more responsible from now. They include her experience in different government departments, and commitment to the improvement of the city’s conditions, which should define her activity as Chief Minister.
The AAP said that Delhi had placed its bet on its leader, Atishi, who shall lead a corruption-free and development-oriented government. Her appointment is, however, coming at a period when the city has many challenges such as; air pollution, traffic control, and improvement of public services. Given her background knowledge of the city and strategies that could solve the problems affecting it, many people in Delhi expect that she will propel change in the city. The swearing-in ceremony will be presided over by political leaders and representatives from different sectorial Associations.
