Mr. Vajpayee has served as PM of India three times, and this Good Governance Day was linked to them on 23 December 2014 when Atal Bihari Vajpayee with Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya conferred the Bharat Ratna. Thus, the Modi government has declared that the 25 December will be celebrated as Good Governance Day, paying homage to our great leader.
The celebration of this day aims to educate the Indians about the duties and responsibilities of the government by bridging the gap between the Indian Citizens and the government while encouraging both parties to participate in it.
