Arvind Kejriwal pleaded to the Supreme Court to extend his interim bail for seven more days so that he could undergo some medical tests. Still, the Supreme Court rejected his plea and ordered Kejriwal to return to the Tihar Jail on 02 June 2024.

On Monday, the spokesperson from the AAP said that Arvind Kejriwal has filed a plea to the Supreme Court for the extension of his interim bail for seven more days so that he can undergo a PET-CT scan and some other medical tests; however, the court has rejected the plea. PET-CT scan is a test used to diagnose cancer and heart disease.
The court has already granted the Delhi CM a 10-day interim bail for election campaigning, but now he must return to the Tihar jail in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy scam case.
