He said, “I, on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh, prayed for the people of Tripura in this unpleasant situation and assured them that we are with you and we shall fight these difficulties together. Like any other state in India, Tripura has also witnessed devastating floods that have displaced a large number of people and destroyed their sources of livelihood, homes, and infrastructure. This has made it difficult for many families to source shelter and other basic needs, and that is why this money will greatly help them get back on their feet. The Rs 5 crore relief fund will be used for basic needs such as food items and clean drinking water, medical help and temporary shelter.
It is not just monetary assistance that Arunachal Pradesh is giving. It also extends the hand of unity and support to the fellow state in the period of crisis. The decision made by the Arunachal Pradesh government has been highly welcomed because it is an act of camaraderie in the spirit of oneness among the states in the Indian Union. It will also help the people of Tripura get the funds and support that are needed to help them recover from the effects of the floods, get their lives back, and reconstruct their homes and towns.
