Two terrorists have been taken down in an encounter in Kulgam of Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday. However, the identity of the terrorists has not been revealed yet.

The security forces started their cordon-and-search operation in Redwani village of Kulgam late on Monday night after they received an intel of the presence of the terrorists in the area. After a massive search operation by the security forces, a massive exchange of gunfire has happened, and two terrorists have been killed in linked with the attack of 04 May 2024 on the convey of the Indian Air Force, in which one IAF officer, Vikky Pahade has been killed and five other injured.
After the attack on the IAF convoy, 20 people have been detained for questioning after the accused fled to the nearest forests while security forces were searching for the terrorists.
