Kolkata Knight Riders defeated SunRisers Hyderabad by eight wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk, Chennai, to win the IPL 2024. KKR bowled out SRH for just 113 runs and achieved the target in 10.3 overs.
In the Qualifier 1 match, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated SRH in 14 overs to qualify for the finals. However, SRH brought back the hope of their fans by defeating the RR by 36 runs, but they could not perform well in front of the bowlers of the Kolkata Knight Riders.
This is Kolkata’s third win in the IPL’s history; they won the title in 2012 and 2014. Only two teams above the KKR, CSK and MI, have won the IPL title five times each.
