Recently, former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu also presented his wish to see Rohit Sharma play for the Chennai Super Kings if MS Dhoni Retires. Rayudu said that he wants to see Rohit play for the CSK; he has played for MI for quite a long time now, so he should play for the CSK and win for the CSK. And captaincy or not, it is all on him. Rohit has earned enough to take that call whether he wants to lead the Chennai Super Kings.
After that, in an interview, Harbhajan Singh was asked about his views on Ambati Rayudu’s comment. Singh said that he had never figured out the auction process. He said he doesn’t know what CSK will do as the auction process is always unpredictable.
Harbhajan Singh added that the biggest positives are the younger cricketers—Jurel, Yashasvi, and Sarfaraz—and Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, which gave these youngsters confidence to play freely and carry out their natural form.
