Shubhkaran Singh, a 21-year-old farmer, died on Wednesday while he was taking part in farmers protest 2024 at the Khanauri border during the clash between the security personnel and the farmers. Shubhkaran Singh was from the Balloh village in Bhatinda, about 15 kilometers from Rampura Phul city, and was the only brother of 2 sisters. Apart from this, 12 police personnel also got injured during this clash.

21 year old has been rushed to the hospital, the hospital staff said that the boy had got an injury over his head. However, the exact reason for his death will confirmed after the post-mortem report. The hospital officials said that as per the initial examination, they found that the boy had a bullet injury over his head. Still, they would only ascertain the type of bullet after the post-mortem examination.
Shubhkaran Singh, a school dropout, used to cultivate 20 acres of land on a contract basis with his uncle Charanjit Singh. Shubhkaran Singh has two sisters and was raised by his grandfather after his parents’ divorce. One of his friends confirmed that Shubh was a Bhartiya Kisan Union Sidhupur activist and attended the farmers protest in 2021. Apart from this, he was amongst the 15 farmers of the village who had joined the Delhi Chalo March. Shubh was the only breadwinner of the house as his father was suffering from mental illness.
On the other hand, both farmers and police personnel are blaming each other for this incident, as farmers are saying that police personnel were using rubber bullets along with tear gas on farmers while the police personnel are saying that farmers have started pelting stones and started attacking by sticks.
Police have said that farmers used the chili powder on stubble and burned it while they surrounded the police personnel posted at the Khanauri border to handle this farmers protest 2024.
However, after the death of this 21-year-old farmer, farmers suspended their Delhi Chalo march for two days to discuss the situation of the farmers protest 2024 with their leaders. But Haryana police are still saying that there is not any report of someone’s killing.
