Leader of Farmer Union, Lakhwinder Singh, has said that they are all ready for today’s Delhi Chalo March; they don’t want to cause any inconvenience to the common man; currently, the gathering is going on, and once they receive any orders, they will rush to Delhi.
On the other hand, local administration has also increased the security practices in Delhi and various borders, including the Shambu Border, to stop farmers from entering Delhi.
Sarwan Singh Pandher, the general secretary of Punjab Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh, said that yesterday, a meeting of over 4 hours was conducted between farmers’ leaders and government officials. They presented an agenda in front of them, but the central government could not meet their demands, so they will not stop farmers’ protest and will be rushing to Delhi today.
