Recently, google launched its Gemini AI, which says it has a better benchmark than other AI models, including Open AI’s ChatGPT 4. So now OpenAI plans to challenge that by introducing its new AI Upgrade to ChatGPT 4.5.

On 14 December 2023, one user posted on the social media platform Reiddt’s r/OpenAI about the release of the ChatGPT 4.5 with the descriptions that say, “Our most advanced model brings multi-model capabilities across language, audio, vision, video, and 3D, alongside complex reasoning and cross-model understanding.“
This post has become viral since then, but as the post was not from the official source of the company, many are speculating it was a leak of the company’s upcoming program. However, the post was later deleted by some moderators of the subreddit.
But users have already taken screenshots of that, and the matter is becoming viral on social media platforms. So, the CEO of OpenAI has to come forward to clarify the matter, and in one of his replies to the tweet, he said, “Nah.” So this was just fake news about the ChatGPT leak.
However, whether the company plans to release ChatGPT 4.5 or directly go with ChatGPT 5 has not been officially confirmed. But is is sure that the company is working on something bigger to compete with the new AI models like Google’s Gemini and other LLMs.
