Two men have jumped from the visitor’s gallery with yellow smoke in their hands. This was the major security breach in Lok Sabha, especially on the 22nd anniversary of the parliament Attack. As per the CCTV footage, one of the men was wearing a dark blue shirt and trying to evade while the other man sprayed yellow smoke from the visitor’s gallery.
However, both of the men were captured by the MPs and security staff. After that, Lok Sabha resumed at 02:00 pm, with Speaker Om Birla saying that both men had been captured, identified as D Manoranjan and Sagar Sharma, and the things with them had been seized. Delhi Police have also started their investigation to determine the main aim of this security breach.
As per the footage, Sagar Sharma has been seen reaching near the speaker’s chair. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Union ministers Anupriya Patel and Hardeep Singh Puri were present then. However, PM Modi was not present then, as he was in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, for the swearing-in ceremony of the new chief of the BJP, Vishnu Deo Sai.
A visitor pass has been recovered from the two men, which has been found issued by the office of Pratap Sinha, the MP of BJP from Mysuru.
